Izmir University of Economics (IEU) Vocational School of Radio and Television Programming has successfully passed the review conducted by the Communication Education Evaluation Accreditation Board (ILEDAK) and has been ‘accredited’. The IEU Radio and TV Programming, which was deemed successful in many areas from the topics covered in the curriculum to the physical facilities provided to students, has once again proven its educational quality.

ILEDAK, which works to improve the quality of communication education across Turkey, completed the accreditation process after months of meticulous examination. IEU Radio and TV Programming successfully passed the review conducted under many headings such as teaching staff and curriculum, management structure, educational infrastructure, and studios.

IEU Vocational School Director Emre Küheylan stated that they focus on providing education to young people under the best conditions. Expressing pride and happiness in being accredited until 2026, Küheylan said, “ILEDAK included vocational schools in the accreditation scope for the first time this year. We became one of the 2 vocational schools that succeeded in being accredited as a result of the evaluation conducted among institutions providing radio and television programming education in Turkey.”

“We are raising qualified young people”

Emphasizing that they are training the successful names of the future through practical and theoretical courses, Küheylan stated, “Communication and media tools have always been elements that guide and shape societies in every era. Today, we witness the power of communication and media activities in every field. Our goal is to meet the need for qualified personnel by conveying the principles of modern broadcasting to our students and to train professionals who can contribute to the solution of problems related to the field with both technical and theoretical knowledge. I can proudly say that we have succeeded in this.”
