The Central Referee Committee summer seminar has started

The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Central Referees Committee (MHK) has started the summer seminar for the 2024-2025 football season. As part of the seminar, Super League referees and assistants, along with the VAR team, participated with 2 referees and 2 officials from the Cyprus Super League for the pre-season.

The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Central Refereeing Committee (MHK) has started its summer seminar for the 2024-2025 football season.

As part of the seminar, Super League referees and assistants, the VAR team, and two referees and two officials from the Cyprus Super League participated in physical and technical training organized at TFF Riva Facilities for pre-season preparation (July 27-29, 2024). The first day of these activities was conducted with the coordination of MHK and the management of TFF/UEFA professionals.

In the opening speech of the MHK Summer Seminar made by MHK President Dr. Ferhat Gündoğdu; MHK members, educators, the TFF physical development unit, and TFF and UEFA professionals were all present. In the trainings, technical topics were conveyed using UEFA and IFAB clips with up-to-date information by FIFA and UEFA Trainer Alan Snoddy, while the first stage of pre-season simulation activities was held at the VAR Center with the VAR team.

At the closing of the first day of the seminar, a plaque was presented to Cevdet Kömürcüoğlu, who had served as an assistant referee for many years both in Turkey and abroad before retiring from assistant refereeing, along with a referee jersey signed by referees and assistant referees.

On the second day of the seminar, it was announced that FIFA athletic tests would be applied to our Super League referees and assistant referees in coordination with TFF Fitness Consultant and UEFA Fitness Director Prof. Dr. Werner Helsen and the TFF Physical Development Unit.

The pre-season camp will also include participation from 1st League referees and assistant referees, FIFA women referees and assistant referees (July 30 – August 1, 2024), as well as Super League and 1st League observers on the specified date (August 2, 2024).
