In Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, Kayseri Vocational Training and Culture Inc. (KAYMEK), 8 students who received training in the free LGS preparatory course in the 2023-2024 academic year achieved significant and noteworthy success by being placed in Science High Schools, 5 students in qualified Anatolian High Schools, and 5 students in Project Imam Hatip High Schools.
Under the leadership of Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç, who supports education and promotes a student and youth-friendly service vision, KAYMEK continues its educational activities, which have become almost the 6th university of the city. In the 2023-2024 academic year, the Young KAYMEK Youth Centers, which serve in 10 different facilities, provide Academic Course Support from 4th grade to 11th grade, LGS Preparatory Courses for 8th graders, as well as YKS preparatory courses for 12th graders and graduates at the Specialization Youth Center.
The Young KAYMEK Youth Centers aim to raise productive youth who are open to technological developments and follow scientific advancements, contributing to the mental, social, and physical development of young people through academic courses as well as social, cultural, artistic, and sports activities.
With the support it provides to education, Kayseri Metropolitan Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç frequently draws attention to the youth he describes as “our apple of the eye,” offering courses in subjects included in the ÖSYM exam curriculum at the Young KAYMEK Youth Centers. During the exam preparation process, students reinforce their knowledge through study sessions and problem-solving. Practice exams will be conducted at regular intervals to measure students’ exam preparations, and programs will be prepared by guidance teachers based on the results of these practice exams to guide the students.
In this context, in the 2023-2024 academic year, out of 470 students receiving training in the LGS preparatory course at Young KAYMEK, 8 students were placed in Science High Schools, 5 students in qualified Anatolian High Schools, and 5 students in Project Imam Hatip High Schools, achieving great success.
