Special gift for Sunar’s 50th anniversary

Sunar Investment’s team became the champion of the Corporate and Institutions Table Tennis Turkey championship. The table tennis team, established 20 years ago with the support of Sunar Investment Honorary President Hüseyin Nuri Çomu, dedicated its championship to the 50th anniversary of Sunar Investment.

The team that won the championship in the competitions held in Kayseri, with the participation of 78 teams from all over Turkey, was the Sunar Investment team. The players of the Sunar Investment Table Tennis Team presented the trophy they won in Kayseri to Sunar Investment Honorary President Hüseyin Nuri Çomu. Expressing his satisfaction with the team’s achievements, Hüseyin Nuri Çomu said, “I would like to thank our table tennis team, which has provided us with great morale with their victories after tough matches. They brought us a great gift in Sunar’s 50th year. I am very proud of my children who know that being a team and representing a city and an institution is a great responsibility. I am sure you will achieve even greater successes; I am always by your side.”

Mustafa Nuri Çomu, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Sunar Investment, who presented plaques to the champion athletes of table tennis, also stated, “I wholeheartedly congratulate our players who dazzled with their determination, discipline, and team spirit throughout the tournament. On behalf of our more than 1300 employees, our dealers in 113 countries where our flag flies, our suppliers, customers, and millions of consumers, I accept the trophy our team has won. In the upcoming season, our national athlete is continuing her preparations to compete in the Olympics. One meaning of these championships is that we are already setting great goals for future generations. We will always continue to support sports and athletes. We encourage young people to turn to table tennis, which has many health benefits. With this championship, our Sunar Investment Table Tennis Team has set great goals for future tournaments. We presented our trophy, which we see as a great source of pride for both our city and our company, to our Governor of Adana, Mr. Yavuz Selim Köşger.
