Kepez Mayor Kocagöz: “Transformation has begun in Kepez”

Kepez Mayor Mesut Kocagöz inspected the hot asphalt works on Işık Street on-site. Emphasizing that they will cover the roads with completed infrastructure in Kepez with hot asphalt, Kocagöz stated, “The transformation has begun in Kepez.”

With the services of the investment units of Kepez Municipality, President Mesut Kocagöz has initiated the transformation of the Kepez district into a modern city and continues to inspect ongoing investments in the neighborhoods on-site. Kepez Mayor Mesut Kocagöz witnessed the hot asphalt application initiated in the Emek Neighborhood section of Işık Street. Touring the area where hot asphalt was laid with his bureaucrats, Mayor Kocagöz thanked the workers who laid the asphalt at approximately 180 degrees Celsius for their dedicated efforts in the hot weather.

Transformation has begun in the neighborhoods

Mayor Kocagöz pointed out that the asphalt on Işık Street’s Emek Neighborhood section was damaged due to infrastructure excavations. Noting that Emek Neighborhood Mukhtar Süleyman Kabaağaç requested the renewal of the street’s asphalt, Kocagöz stated, “By starting the hot asphalt work, we have met this request. We are renewing the damaged asphalt of the 750-meter section of the street with 1000 tons of hot asphalt. The transformation has begun in Kepez. We see one example of this transformation in the Emek Neighborhood. We will cover the roads with completed infrastructure in our neighborhoods with hot asphalt.”

Stating that they carried out 6,000 square meters of paving stone and 1,500 meters of curb stone work on Kara Yusuf Street, which previously divided Karşıyaka and Emek neighborhoods, Kepez Mayor Mesut Kocagöz also mentioned that they completely renewed the first park built in Emek Neighborhood during the Antalya Municipality period.
