Gaziosmanpaşa Municipality Aqueduct Social Facilities have been opened to service

The Gaziosmanpaşa Municipality has opened the Water Arch Social Facilities, which is the first social facility of the district. Gaziosmanpaşa Mayor Hakan Bahçetepe stated that they aim to raise the welfare level of the people of Gaziosmanpaşa with new projects that will benefit the district following the opening of the facility.

The Water Arch Social Facilities, which will bring a new breath to social life in Gaziosmanpaşa, were inaugurated with a ceremony. Renovated by Gaziosmanpaşa Municipality, the facility not only serves as a restaurant but has also been transformed into an ideal venue for weddings, various invitations, events, associations, and business meetings. A playground has been created for children to have fun, and the facility has attained a more aesthetic, environmentally friendly, and greener appearance through landscaping efforts. Located right next to Kazım Karabekir Metro Station, the Water Arch Social Facilities aim to meet the social and cultural needs of the people of Gaziosmanpaşa by combining high-quality standards with affordable prices.

During the opening, Gaziosmanpaşa Mayor Hakan Bahçetepe said, “This place has been active for many years, but it was a very isolated and closed area. But as of today, I take pride in opening this place to the service of all Gaziosmanpaşans with our understanding of populist municipality. Here, especially for the easy access of our citizens, the newly opened door, the update on prices, and the efforts made for citizens to receive more affordable and higher quality services have actually added value to our district. We named this place the water arch. As you know, the water arch has a long-standing root and heritage in many neighborhoods of Gaziosmanpaşa. The Water Arch Social Facilities now belong to the public.”

Mayor Bahçetepe also mentioned the projects they plan to bring to the district, stating, “Since we arrived, we have implemented many services. This social facility is one of them. We provided free circumcision services for our children. We have launched a mobile city restaurant in various neighborhoods of Gaziosmanpaşa. Now, we are establishing a health center and a daycare in Hürriyet Neighborhood and a daycare in Mevlana Neighborhood. After we stabilize our financial budget in the upcoming period, we will strive together to raise the welfare level of our people with the services we will provide for our retirees.”
