Rector Savaş met with prospective students during the Uşak University Preference Days

As part of the “Uşak University Preference Days” organized by Uşak University, Uşak University Rector Prof. Dr. Ekrem Savaş and Uşak Deputy Governor Önder Can met with candidates who were successful in the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS). Rector Savaş and Deputy Governor Can chatted with the young people and discussed their career goals.

The Preference Days were also attended by Uşak University Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Lütfi Özav, Prof. Dr. Kenan Taş, and Prof. Dr. Osman Birgin, Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sinan Gürcüoğlu, Uşak Provincial National Education Branch Manager Ahmet Aydın, and Uşak Guidance and Research Center Director Mehmet Ulusal, who assisted the students in making their preferences.

During the “Uşak University Preference Days” held in the foyer of the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Congress and Culture Center from July 19 to July 25, 2024, personnel from the Uşak University Student Affairs Department and the Health, Culture, and Sports Department, academics from different faculties and vocational schools, as well as psychological counseling and guidance teachers from the Uşak Provincial National Education Directorate, are helping candidates who will make their preferences.

Candidates coming from within and outside the city can get information about the associate and undergraduate programs they will choose, education, scholarships, domestic/international student exchange programs, accommodation, and social facilities while visiting the Uşak University campus and experiencing campus life.

Highlighting that Uşak University is a role model university that has many national and international accreditations, is integrated with the city and industry, and focuses on both student and regional development with qualified growth, Uşak University Rector Prof. Dr. Ekrem Savaş stated: “Uşak University is one of the prominent universities in its region with its increasing success momentum in international rankings (THE, QS, SCIMAGO, URAP, UI Green Metric) every year and its young and dynamic management structure.
