President Kumral congratulated the champions from Babadağ

DENIZLI (IHA) – Babadağ Mayor Murat Kumral congratulated Ziya Yılmaz, who placed 2nd individually in the Turkey Bocce Championship, and the Babadağ team, which achieved 3rd place as a team. Mayor Kumral stated, “We care about our youth growing up as healthy, conscious, and successful individuals.”

The Hacı Mehmet Zorlu Multi-Program Anatolian High School, representing Babadağ and Denizli in the Turkey Bocce Championship, achieved significant success. The Babadağ representatives, consisting of Ziya Yılmaz, Salih Altıntaş, Mustafa Baba, Arda Yavaş, Mehmet Ziya Yılmaz, and Zehra Harmanda, secured 3rd place in Turkey as a team, while Ziya Yılmaz from the team became the 2nd in Turkey individually, bringing great pride to Denizli and the district.

The students, teachers, and administrators of Hacı Mehmet Zorlu Multi-Program Anatolian High School, who have achieved significant successes in the sport of bocce, visited Mayor Murat Kumral to share their trophy and medals.

Congratulating the athletes from Babadağ who made Babadağ and Denizli proud with their achievements, Mayor Kumral said, “Our students from Hacı Mehmet Zorlu Multi-Program Anatolian High School have made significant achievements in the sport of bocce. I congratulate them and their teachers for this accomplishment and wish them continued success. As Babadağ Municipality, we care about the needs and demands of our youth, who are the future of our country. It is very important for us that our young people grow up as healthy, conscious, and successful individuals. Young people who engage in sports not only protect themselves from all kinds of bad habits but also gain confidence, leading to success. We need successful young people for the development and strengthening of our country. For this reason, we support all branches of sports as a municipality and will continue to do so. We are planning to establish facilities that will meet the needs of our district and serve our athletes. We will continue to do everything we can to raise more champions from our Babadağ.”
