The 100th Year Food Analysis Laboratory, established in cooperation with Muğla Metropolitan Municipality and Muğla Commodity Exchange, has started its services.

The 100th Year Food Analysis Laboratory will conduct analyses primarily on Muğla’s two most famous products, honey and olive oil, to promote Muğla’s products and determine their quality. These analyses will be conducted according to international council methods and the quality and purity parameters of the Turkish Food Codex.

The analyzed products provide confidence to consumers.

The laboratory, which was established by the Metropolitan Municipality and the Commodity Exchange, will determine the quality criteria for all finished, semi-finished, and raw food products. Conducting R&D studies for innovative product development is of great importance in increasing the market opportunities of products whose quality has been determined. The products that are certified for quality in the laboratory will benefit both producers and consumers who will purchase products with confidence. The analyses conducted at the 100th Year Laboratory will provide producers with more affordable analysis opportunities compared to the price lists of other laboratories.

Hurşit Öztürk: “We hope our partnerships will continue.”

Hurşit Öztürk, President of the Muğla Commodity Exchange and one of the project’s partners, stated, “We carried out the 100th Year food analysis laboratory in partnership with Muğla Metropolitan Municipality. We started providing services to Muğla in a short time. Congratulations to Muğla!”

Additionally, R&D studies are aimed to be conducted for innovative product development. Initially, analyses of honey and olive oil will be performed at the 100th Year food analysis laboratory, which will be carried out according to international council methods and the parameters of the Turkish Food Codex. In subsequent studies, analyses of other products will also be conducted.”
