Kepez is also transforming Emek Neighborhood

Kepez Municipality is renewing the asphalt damaged due to the infrastructure works on Işık Street.
Kepez Municipality is eliminating the problems that arise in the neighborhoods with a service mobilization; existing green areas and roads are being renewed, and idle areas are being cleaned of waste.
As part of the change movement that started with the opening of the surface asphalt season in Aydoğmuş Neighborhood, common social living areas in the neighborhoods are being modernized, and works are continuing on Işık Street, where traffic flow is intense.

Asphalt on the Emek Neighborhood section of Işık Street
The asphalt of the street, which is 1,720 meters long and an average of 8 meters wide, located in the Emek and Karşıyaka neighborhoods, is being renewed due to infrastructure investments. Hot asphalt application is being carried out in the section of the street where there are intense deteriorations in the asphalt surface in the Emek Neighborhood. This section of the street is located between Yeşilırmak Street and Kara Yusuf Street.

One thousand tons of hot asphalt for the street
The teams of the Department of Science Affairs removed the asphalt surface damaged due to infrastructure excavations with the help of construction machinery. After leveling the street, hot asphalt was started to be laid with a finisher machine. In this section of the street, which is 700 meters long, one thousand tons of asphalt is being used. Officials from the Department of Science Affairs stated that the asphalt works on the street would be completed within this week. The hot asphalt work on Işık Street will be completed with the marking of road lines that regulate traffic safety. The maintenance and repair of the sidewalks on the street will also be carried out.

Change will continue in Kepez
Mayor Mesut Kocagöz stated that they quickly find solutions to the problems within the municipality’s authority in the neighborhoods with the change initiative they started. He expressed that they set out with the goal of making Kepez the showcase of Antalya, saying, “While making Kepez the showcase of Antalya, we are also preparing a quality, comfortable, and environmentally friendly urban environment for our district residents. We are working diligently within this goal. Change has started in Kepez. In the context of this change, we are eliminating the road problem in our Emek Neighborhood. We are renewing the damaged asphalt of Işık Street. With this work, we will make the street comfortable and safe. Change services in Kepez will continue to increase.”
Kepez Municipality had previously made the sidewalks of Kara Yusuf Street, which divides the Karşıyaka and Emek neighborhoods, safe and comfortable with 6,000 square meters of paving stones and 1,500 meters of curb stone work.
