In BURSEM, YKS preference consultancy is starting

Burhaniye Municipality Social Activity Center (BURSEM) offers counseling services during the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) preference processes for students, provided by expert teachers and psychological counselors.

Expert teachers ensure that the most suitable university and program choices are made by considering students’ interests, abilities, and performance levels. The counseling is conducted in one-on-one meetings with the participation of students and their parents. In addition, detailed information about the preference process is provided by expert teachers.

Burhaniye Mayor Ali Kemal Deveciler, who made statements on the subject, said, “With the preference counseling service we offer during the YKS preference periods, we aim for our students to start their university life in the best way possible. As Burhaniye Municipality, we provide the necessary support for our students’ education in our district. I wish success to our youth, who are the light of our future, in their career journeys, and I hope the preference periods will be beneficial.”

Rukiye Güven Köken, Director of Social Support Services of Burhaniye Municipality, who provided information about the YKS preference counseling service, stated, “The preference processes for our students have begun. After the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS), we offer counseling services to help students make the right university choice. Our expert teachers and psychological counselors recommend the most suitable universities and programs for our students. Our counseling service will continue throughout the preference period.”

YKS preferences will start on July 25, 2024, and will continue until August 2, 2024.
