Vehicle reinforcement for Düzce Police Department

In Duzce, 34 new vehicles have been added to the Provincial Police Department with the support of philanthropists.

With the increasing population in Duzce, the police teams need to respond more quickly to public order incidents to ensure the peace and safety of citizens. Thanks to the support of philanthropists, 34 new vehicles have been added to the Duzce Provincial Police Department. Speaking at the program held at Anıtpark Square where the vehicles were put into operation, Provincial Police Chief İbrahim Ergüder stated, “Under the auspices of our esteemed governor, we have been striving together for a more peaceful Duzce since the first day we started our duty with the motto of ‘we are strong together’. We have always aimed to increase the quality of service in both crime prevention and investigation activities in cooperation with our citizens. On the other hand, we are working to bring the vehicles and equipment used by our personnel to a level of efficiency suitable for the conditions of the times, thereby maximizing the public satisfaction with the security services.”

Duzce Governor Selçuk Aslan, who stated that they have added 34 vehicles to their auspices with the support of philanthropists, said, “When we started our duty in Duzce, we announced a sort of manifesto that we would never compromise on maintaining and continuing public order. We have determined that utilizing all the technological capabilities of your law enforcement units and ensuring that their resources and capabilities are up to date is one of the most important factors in maintaining public order and reflecting the state’s authority on the streets. Within the framework of the need to renew some of our vehicles and equipment under our auspices, we launched a campaign with the slogan ‘Duzce’s Peace’. We have raised our modest goal to 50 vehicles. Today, we want to announce that we have added 34 vehicles to our auspices, aiming to further solidify our goal of completing our objectives. A team that we can call the Duzce model consists of 2 personnel, but when our team intervenes in the simplest public order incident and the perpetrator uses excessive force, we need multiple teams. This is because apprehending that individual can exceed 2 police officers. Or if there are multiple offenders, we send several of our teams there.”
