The Ergan Mountain Outdoor Sports Festival ended with colorful images.

The Ergan Mountain Nature Sports Festival, held in Erzincan where the star shines brighter each passing year, concluded with vibrant scenes after three days. Adrenaline enthusiasts relieved their stress to the fullest.

During the three-day festival, competitions and demonstrations were held in various sports such as paragliding target competition, motocross races, water sports on Ardıçlı Lake, archery, rock climbing, and shooting. The festival, organized with the contributions of the Erzincan Governorship, Erzincan Special Administration, and Erzincan Youth Sports Provincial Directorate under the slogan ‘Bring your tent and come’, hosted a variety of colorful events. Artists performed concerts during the activities where paragliding demonstrations, motocross races, rock climbing, and shooting competitions took place.

Extreme athlete İhsan Bayık stated, ‘We generally knew our Ergan Mountain as the longest slope in Turkey during the winter months, one of the longest three slopes in Europe, with a length of 17 kilometers from the gondola station at an altitude of 3256 meters. However, with the events initiated by our Erzincan Governorship, a three-day organization was carried out with paragliding races, motocross races, water sports, and camping accommodations on Ergan Mountain. Currently, we are the first and only ski resort in Turkey to hold this event. We are showcasing differences in Erzincan at Ergan Mountain. In the 2024-2025 winter season, there will be unique activities and sports that will also be exclusive to Turkey. We will provide skiing experiences for guests from both domestic and international backgrounds on the untouched snow on the back side of the mountains. Erzincan Ergan has a beautiful snow structure in terms of location, and almost three months of the season is completely covered with snow. Unfortunately, many ski resorts have not been receiving snowfall in recent years due to global warming. As Ergan, we will turn this situation into an advantage in a very different way this year. We have contributed Ergan Mountain to our country, and now we will contribute to the winter sector on international platforms. We will also continuously bring the continuation of these events in the summer. Under the leadership of our Erzincan Governorship, we will implement all necessary activities.’
