Hot Meals Prepared Under the Supervision of Food Engineers
At the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Soup Kitchen, healthy menus determined by food engineers are meticulously prepared in accordance with hygiene rules. Kitchen staff cook a variety of delicious meals every day of the week, taking into account the daily calorie intake. The prepared meals are delivered to elderly and disabled citizens in need using vehicles belonging to the soup kitchen. Confidentiality principles are carefully applied in the distribution of meals delivered by hand. This year, 9,500 elderly and disabled citizens received lunch from the soup kitchen.
Application Procedures for Citizens in Need
Elderly and disabled citizens can communicate their meal needs through HİM or via the website bizvariz.izmir.bel.tr.
