Education continues at Karatay Summer Sports Schools.

The “Karatay Summer Sports Schools” training, launched by the central Karatay District Municipality of Konya and aimed at making Karatay the center of sports, continues.

The Summer Sports Schools training organized by Karatay Municipality is ongoing to ensure that children spend their summer holidays efficiently, showcase their sports talents, and enhance their social communications. Within the scope of the project; training is being conducted in a total of 14 different sports branches such as football, basketball, orienteering, court tennis, volleyball, gymnastics, karate, taekwondo, kickboxing, archery, table tennis, chess, swimming, and wrestling at 15 different sports facilities across the district, with over 5,000 athletes participating.

Mayor of Karatay, Hasan Kılca, watched the training sessions carried out within the scope of the project. He met with athletes training in different branches and chatted with them for a while. Mayor Kılca received information from their coaches about the training and the progress the athletes had made. He stated that they continue to implement projects that contribute to the social, cultural, and sports development of young people, saying, “This year, within the scope of our Karatay Sports Schools project, we are providing sports training to over 5,000 of our children in 15 sports facilities across 14 different sports branches. As the Karatay Municipality, we place great importance on investing in sports, our children, and our future. We are happy about the interest in these trainings we have organized to ensure that our children spend their summer holidays in the most productive way and to bring out their sports talents. We wish for our children, who are our future, to be successful in every field and to express themselves in every area. For this, we have done and will continue to do everything we can. I wish success to all the children participating in the trainings. I would like to thank the families who encourage their children to participate in our courses and the coaches providing the training.”
