Visit to Boyacıköy Neighborhood by Member of Parliament Ayşe Böhürler

AK Party Kayseri Deputy Ayşe Böhürler visited Boyacıköy Neighborhood, located in Kocasinan District, to listen to the problems and demands of the people.

AK Party Kayseri Deputy Ayşe Böhürler, along with Agriculture Provincial Director Bülent Saklav, Kocasinan District Agriculture Director Abdülaziz Yıldırım, AK Party Provincial Women’s Branch President Meral Koşar, and AK Party Kocasinan District President Selçuk Melekoğlu, visited Boyacıköy Neighborhood, located 25 kilometers away from the city center on the road to Kuşçu Dam.

Listening to the problems of the people of Boyacıköy, Deputy Ayşe Böhürler stated that she would follow up on issues such as the construction of the Göğdere road, which is the only access road for the community, the widening of the entrance road to the next neighborhood after Göğdere to at least allow for a one-sided sidewalk, the maintenance and watering of the trees in the areas within the neighborhood, the sewage system, which was designed for 150 households but needs to be updated as it has increased to 700 households, and the wastewater and septic area, which is too small and gives off odors, needs to be enlarged and moved outside the village.

Kayseri Agriculture and Forestry Provincial Director Bülent Saklav mentioned that they provided 3 million TL in support to Boyacıköy Neighborhood last year and stated that seedlings and support would be provided for the cultivation of medicinal aromatic plants, provided that the area is no less than one acre. He noted that there are 297 large livestock and nearly 5,000 small livestock in the neighborhood, and they have provided seed support to a total of 64 farmers, with 74 farmers cultivating 1,124 hectares of land in this neighborhood, and that these supports will continue to increase.

Deputy Ayşe Böhürler also met with Boyacıköy Neighborhood Muhtar Ahmet Berk, Boyacıköy Protection and Beautification Association President Allaattin Kaplan, and the farmers engaged in agriculture, listening to their demands. She expressed that the farmers are satisfied with the products they produce and the support provided by the government.
