Yazıcıoğlu announces record bonuses for employees

The 3-year bank promotion tender covering employees working under Tokat Municipality has been completed. Employees of the municipality will receive a bank promotion of 50,000 TL. Employees including civil servants, permanent staff, contracted workers, and employees working in the municipal company under Tokat Municipality have completed the 3-year bank promotion tender. As per the agreement with the bank offering the highest bid, signatures were made for the payment of 50,000 TL in a single installment to the municipality employees. Mayor Mehmet Kemal Yazıcıoğlu, in a statement regarding the matter, mentioned that after extensive efforts and negotiations, the tender ended successfully, saying, ‘We have worked seriously on this. We have been in talks with all banks for about a month. I personally am aware of and informed about all the negotiations. We went through a tender process in the final stage. Currently, the largest promotion ever realized in Turkey has been determined for all employees, including our civil servants, our employees at Tokbel, all our employees, with a 50,000 TL amount following a substantial salary. When negotiating this, I specifically requested sensitivity from our colleagues and managers in the bank. We are talking about a change in Tokat. Change starts at home. Peace is needed at home first. Discipline is needed. A corporate structure is needed. I am a mayor who cares about the needs and sensitivities of my staff. That’s why I had a sensitivity on this matter. And we have concluded one of the highest promotions in history. Now all our staff will benefit from this promotion as soon as possible. I wish all my staff the best in advance.’
