Located on the Şenlik Tepesi of Zorkun Plateau in Osmaniye, the Glass Observation Terrace offers visitors an unparalleled viewing pleasure. The 250-square-meter terrace welcomes hundreds of guests from the city and beyond. Zorkun Plateau, one of the largest plateaus in Turkey, experiences an increase in population density during the summer months, with visitors from the surrounding provinces. The ‘Glass Observation Terrace’ on Şenlik Tepesi of Zorkun Plateau, which contributes significantly to the city economically, culturally, and socially, has become the new favorite spot for nature lovers. Planned by the Osmaniye Municipality and completed by the Eastern Mediterranean Development Agency, ‘DOĞAKA’, the ‘Glass Observation Terrace’ hosts administrative buildings, a 250-square-meter countryside restaurant, 2 local product exhibition and sales points, a countryside cafe, 2 buffets, 10 pergolas, 30 picnic units, numerous social facilities, and a thousand square meters of amphitheater park on a 120-acre land. The area welcomes guests who want to get away from the stress and heat of the city, be close to nature, and enjoy the fresh air. Emrah Kaplan, who visited Zorkun Plateau for the first time, expressed, ‘It’s a very nice environment, I was expecting the terrace to be higher, but it’s not that high. However, the view is fantastic, it has a very neat scenery, and we had a great time flying a drone. Just make sure to fill up your car’s tank because the roads are a bit crowded. We really liked it, it’s a beautiful place for activities, you can sit and make kebabs with your family, there are sports facilities. I highly recommend it to everyone.’ Oğuz Kaan Kuru, who came to the Glass Observation Terrace for a picnic with his family, said, ‘I live in Kadirli and it’s my first time in Zorkun, it’s a very nice place, I liked it a lot. It has a view like a wonderland, a great service has been provided. I came with my family and we really enjoyed it. I recommend everyone to come.’
