The Turkey War Disabled, Martyrs’ Widows and Orphans Association Salihli Representation along with visits to the martyrs’ tombs in Asri and Karaağaç Cemeteries, Qur’an recitations and prayers were held in memory of all martyrs.

On the eighth anniversary of the treacherous coup attempt on July 15, the “July 15 Epic Photo Exhibition,” featuring the photos taken by Ihlas News Agency (IHA) documenting the epic resistance of the Turkish nation, was opened at the Zafer Keskiner Exhibition Hall. While the people of Salihli showed great interest in the exhibition, IHA’s photo exhibition reminded the citizens of the treacherous coup night.

Participants in the July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day events included District Governor Mehmet Kamil Sağlam, Mayor Mazlum Nurlu, Chief Public Prosecutor Orhan Al, District Police Chief Burhan Demirkıran, District Gendarmerie Commander Captain Doğukan Karaaslan, District National Education Director Mahmut Yenen, District Mufti Ali Çebi, political party representatives, and department heads.
