Minister of Trade Bolat: ‘We will continue to keep the spirit of July 15 alive’

Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat said, “By joining hands with our nation, which has overcome many difficulties throughout history, we will continue to prepare our country, which our ancestors left us as a legacy, for stronger tomorrows and keep the spirit of July 15 alive.” Bolat, in his message shared on social media on the Democracy and National Unity Day of July 15, reminded that on the night of July 15, the noble nation showed a glorious resistance against the treacherous coup attempt that targeted the future of the country with the power it took from its glorious history. Bolat emphasized that the leadership shown by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the exemplary spirit of resistance of the nation played a great role in the failure of the plans of the coup plotters and their backers aiming at the state, the future, the economy, and the security. He stated, “On the night of July 15, by joining hands, the state and the nation repelled the treacherous attack that aimed at our state, our institutions, our Grand National Assembly, our cities, and the will of our nation trying to plunge the future of Turkey into darkness. With these thoughts, on the anniversary of the treacherous coup attempt targeting the independence and unity of our country on the night of July 15, I offer my condolences to all the homeland children who were martyred, and my gratitude to our veterans. I also express our gratitude to all the heroic soldiers, police officers, and civilian martyrs who sacrificed their lives for this noble country, and we pray for abundant mercy from Almighty Allah.
