The Mayor of Manisa Metropolitan Municipality, Architect Ferdi Zeyrek, announced the news of free online and live education services for 8th and 12th grade students and graduates. Manisa Metropolitan Municipality continues its efforts to contribute to the education of young people. In this context, live lessons will be given by expert teachers for 8th and 12th grade students preparing for LGS and YKS exams, as well as graduates, providing students with an interactive lesson environment and the opportunity to ask questions instantly. Mayor Architect Ferdi Zeyrek, who announced the Online Education Platform, emphasized that they aim to create a city where everyone from 7 to 77 in Manisa is happy and peaceful since the first day they took office. Mayor Zeyrek stated that they have implemented the online education platform service with this mindset, saying: ‘We want to be by the side of young people, support them in their educational lives, alleviate their burdens at challenging times to some extent, and support them on the path to success. In this context, we are launching our Online Education Platform to provide free educational support to our valuable children and young people preparing for exams in Manisa. Our project, which will cover our 8th and 12th grade students and graduates living in our city, aims to reach out to young people who, for various reasons, could not receive cram school education. There will be no limit to the number of students in this platform that we will implement. Our online cram school applications will start on July 16, 2024, and will continue until August 30, 2024. Our lessons will start on September 2, 2024. I wish you all good lessons and outstanding success in your exams. I also want you to remember that we are always by your side.’ The program, which includes basic courses such as Turkish, Mathematics, Science, Social Sciences, and English, will be held on weekdays after 17.00 and on weekends. The program consists of 40-minute lessons and 15-minute breaks; students will have the opportunity to watch the missed lessons again. Access to lesson plans will be provided through the platform. Within the education program, 16 online mock exams will be held throughout the year. In addition, various digital educational materials that will support students will be provided free of charge. Participants and graduates will be able to access lesson programs and exam results by logging into the system with their names and passwords. Residing in Manisa and being an 8th or 12th grade student or graduate will be the requirements to participate in the program. Those who want to ask questions about the program and those who need technical support can contact the relevant authorities at the Solution Center at 444 99 45 or ‘iletisim@manisa.bel.tr’. Registrations will be made through ‘manisa.bel.tr’ and ‘egitim.manisa.bel.tr’ websites. After the registration process is completed, weekend class hours will be communicated to the participants.
