You will see, when the matches are played, all teams will be eager to come to Bodrum. Perhaps the fans of the teams coming to Bodrum will arrive 2-3 days in advance. Most likely, we will finish our stadium in time for the Gaziantep FK match. Currently, there doesn’t seem to be any issue. Lighting was essential. Our President Selahattin continues the construction work with his team. It needs to be approved by the federation first, and then by the broadcasting institution.’
‘We have brought young talents we see a future in Turkey to our club.’ Referring to the transfer activities, Öztürk said, ‘80% of the players we acquired consist of children aged 17-21. We have players in the main team and those who are not in the main team. We have loaned out 10 of our players to lower league teams. We haven’t sold any of them, we are currently in ongoing negotiations. We have acquired a player from Bulgaria, we can say he is a number 10. We have spoken with defenders and midfielders, and hopefully, the deals will be finalized within this week, and their names will be announced. Lastly, there is the issue of a striker. Players are coming from all sides, and we are evaluating them.’

Our Governor, Metropolitan Municipality Mayor, District Governor, Mayor of Bodrum, are all more supportive than ever before. They are all ready to provide us with all kinds of support. We are in constant negotiations to generate income. I thank President Rıza for his contribution to bringing this team here. If it wasn’t for Bodrum Football Club, Inc., it would most likely be in the Regional Amateur League. President Rıza has been heavily criticized for making it a corporation. If it wasn’t a corporation, the club could not have been acquired.’
