In the Toroslar tournament, consisting of 3 groups A, B, and C with a total of 18 teams, and in the Fındıkpınarı tournament, consisting of 4 groups A, B, C, and D with a total of 24 teams, the final matches will be played on August 30. Just last year, nearly 60,000 people circulated in Fındıkpınarı alone. We expect a similar number this year in Ayvagediği. We organize the Ayvagediği football tournament with Toroslar Municipality and the Fındıkpınarı football tournament with the Metropolitan Municipality.’ Inviting the people of Mersin to watch the tournament, Taşkın expressed his wish for the tournament matches to be held in a spirit of friendship, peace, and brotherhood. ‘The tournament brings neighborhoods together’ Ayhan Gümeli, the Muhtar of Ayvagediği Neighborhood, stated that the tournament is very competitive every year and is a great event between neighborhoods.
