OSBÜK President Kütükcü’s message for July 15: ‘We gave the greatest response to the traitors by producing more.’

The President of the Organization of Industrial Zones (OSBÜK), Memiş Kütükcü, in his message issued on the 8th anniversary of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day, stated, ‘The treacherous coup attempt by the FETÖ Terrorist Organization and its collaborators is the greatest betrayal in our history. I commemorate all our martyrs who thwarted this betrayal by writing an epic of heroism and defending our country at all costs with mercy, and our veterans with gratitude.’ Memiş Kütükcü emphasized that the noble Turkish nation, by displaying a historic national resistance on the night of July 15, 2016, and afterwards, once again asserted its eternal freedom, stating, ‘As a nation, we will never forget what happened on the night of July 15 and afterwards. As the OSB community, we responded to the treacherous attempts of the FETÖ Terrorist Organization and its collaborators by producing more and growing our country even more. Since July 15, 2016, a total of 110 OSBs have been established, with 56 in our 29 Agriculture-Based Specialized OSBs and 81 under the Ministry of Industry and Technology. While there is no province left without an organized industrial zone, our total number of OSBs has increased to 403. Furthermore, since July 15, 2016, over 10,000 new factories have started production in our OSBs, creating nearly 900,000 new jobs. Thus, the number of factories in our OSBs has exceeded 67,000, and our employment has surpassed 2.6 million. We will continue to work with all our might, as we have done until today, to lead our country, which is entrusted to us by our martyrs, to more prosperous tomorrows. On this occasion, I congratulate our noble nation on July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day, and once again remember all our martyrs with mercy and our veterans with gratitude. May God be pleased with all of them.’
