Taşkın: ‘We will succeed together’

Mayor of Battalgazi, Bayram Taşkin, stated that they have not yet been able to vacate the area of Saray Mahallesi, which has been designated as a reserve area, emphasizing that not being able to vacate the area is the biggest problem in Malatya. Mayor of Battalgazi, Bayram Taşkin, met with the citizens. During the meeting, the problems of the citizens were listened to and solution suggestions were discussed. Mayor Taşkin stated that they meet with the citizens in a mosque every week, saying, ‘Today we are at Aysehan Mosque hosted by our Nationalist Movement Party Battalgazi District Chairman, who is our partner in the People’s Alliance. Colleagues from both our municipality and the Metropolitan Municipality are here to listen to the problems. Each one will take notes and we will solve your problems, God willing’.
Mayor Taşkin, stating that they have made every sacrifice as Battalgazi Municipality, mentioned, ‘Today, due to it being citizens’ day, we hosted our citizens from Coşnük neighborhood. They ask why our sites did not enter the reserve area. Or they rightfully complain that my apartment, shop is shrinking’.
Reminding that Malatya experienced a major disaster, Taşkin said, ‘Many fortunes, many lives were lost. We need to be more constructive in this process. We have not been able to vacate Saray Mahallesi for 4 months. A few people can slow down the whole process. The problem is also a bit on our side. Let’s admit it. There are no high-rise buildings as before, and we have to fit all the rights holders in the designated reserve area. Our state provides grants in addition to insurance fees. Let’s not overlook this opportunity. We all need to make sacrifices. As the Municipality, we provide all kinds of facilities. We talked with the willing tradesmen for the restaurant business that will not walk in the container, we provided a place inside the municipal garden. We disturbed the garden arrangement. As long as there is no decision to stop filing lawsuits, and constructions speed up as soon as possible. The company that will build Saray Mahallesi says we can’t wait anymore. We are trying hard to hold them back. Let’s move away from the state of deadlock. If we all spread the word unanimously, the citizens will also give up on that state. Our state provides all kinds of facilities. The earthquake budget was not disrupted to lose the election. The money is ready. Contractors are ready. We cannot vacate the area. Not being able to vacate the area is the biggest problem in Malatya. Hopefully, together we will solve this problem. Please support us.
