As part of the activities for July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day, the opening of the July 15 Painting Exhibition and the July 15 Themed Book Exhibition was held at the Erzincan Provincial Library. The exhibition, which contains paintings and books carrying the traces of the treacherous coup attempt of July 15, will be open for 5 days. The exhibition includes 170 books, local newspapers covering the coup attempt, and 24 paintings made by students from Erzincan Fine Arts High School. Visitors have the opportunity to borrow and read the exhibited books. The exhibition was inaugurated by Erzincan Deputy Governor Yusuf İzci, and was attended by Communication Regional Director Metehan Akkaya, Culture Director Oğuzhan Yılmaz, Erzincan Provincial Disaster and Emergency Director Cengiz Çavuş, students, and citizens. Following the opening of the exhibition, Erzincan Deputy Governor Yusuf İzci made a statement, commemorating all the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the unity and integrity of our country on July 15. He mentioned that the events will continue on Monday, July 15, with a visit to the family of the martyr in the Tercan district by Governor Hamza Aydoğdu. There will be programs from 8:30 pm to 00:13 on the evening of July 15. He invited all citizens to the events and condemned the coup attempt by the treacherous terrorist organization FETÖ, expressing his condolences to all the martyrs and wishing good health and long life to the veterans.
