Galatasaray’s 24th championship cup met with fans in Salihli

Galatasaray, by finishing the 2023-2024 season at the top, won its 24th championship in the Trendyol Süper Lig, and the cup met with fans in the Salihli district of Manisa. The cup was welcomed with great enthusiasm in Salihli.

The cup of Süper Lig champion Galatasaray was brought to Salihli through an organization prepared under the leadership of the Salihli Galatasaray Fans Association. At an event held at a hotel, yellow-red fans took souvenir photos with the 24th championship cup. Some fans kissed the cup, while others posed by lifting the cup in the air to immortalize this special moment. Speaking about the event where the excitement was high accompanied by live music and Galatasaray anthems, Salihli Galatasaray Fans Association President Uğur Özçelik said, ‘We are experiencing the honor and pride of bringing the championship cup to Salihli for the 4th time. I express my infinite thanks to the Galatasaray community who made us experience this pride. As in every year, with the income to be obtained from this year’s championship celebration, starting with our sponsors, we will purchase a motorized wheelchair and gift it to a family.’

Special children were hosted
At the championship celebration event, children with Down syndrome were also hosted along with their families. The children who attended the celebration took photos with Galatasaray’s 24th championship cup. Additionally, two Galatasaray jerseys signed by Galatasaray Head Coach Okan Buruk and players were put up for auction. One jersey was purchased by Yaman Tuğrul, and the other by Osman Gür.

It was learned that with the income generated from the event where the championship cake was cut, a motorized wheelchair will be purchased and gifted to a disabled individual in need.
