Yıldırım Municipality continues its ‘Regional Consultation and Service Meetings’. Mayor Oktay Yılmaz stated, ‘We are providing equal services to every corner of Yıldırım.’

Yıldırım Mayor Oktay Yılmaz meets with the neighborhood headmen in the district three days a week as part of regional consultation and service meetings. This week, Yıldırım Mayor Oktay Yılmaz met with the headmen of Millet, İsabey, Sakarya, Vakıf, Samanlı, Duaçınarı, Yunusemre, Vatan, Anadolu, Kazımkarabekir, Karapınar, Değirmenönü, Cumalıkızık, Hamamlıkızık, Yiğitler, Balaban, Esenevler, 75. Yıl, Erikli, Bağlaraltı, Fidyekızık neighborhoods, and concluded the week’s regional meeting with the headmen of Değirmenlıkızık, Yeşilyayla, Maltepe, Zümrütevler, Akçağlayan, Piremir, Yediselviler, Sıracevizler, Davutkadı, Musababa, Zeyniler.

At the meeting where services and projects for neighborhoods were evaluated, Mayor Oktay Yılmaz listened to the demands and suggestions of the headmen and instructed his deputies to make necessary arrangements and take actions for the identified needs. The headmen, expressing their demands on issues such as transformation, infrastructure, asphalt, parks, environment, cleanliness, and security, thanked Mayor Oktay Yılmaz for providing them with all kinds of support and producing quick solutions tailored to the needs of the neighborhoods.

Mayor Oktay Yılmaz emphasized the importance of regional neighborhood meetings, stating, ‘During our neighborhood visits and fieldwork, we frequently meet with our headmen and listen to their demands. Through the regional consultation and service meetings we conduct, we consult with our headmen, thoroughly discuss our work for the neighborhoods. Seeing our services and projects through the eyes of our headmen, and obtaining their ideas and suggestions, is important for us. Thanks to the support and contributions of our headmen, we provide fast and beneficial services for our neighborhoods. We operate with a management understanding based on common sense and cooperation. The opinion of everyone living in Yıldırım is valuable to us.’

Mayor Oktay Yılmaz, highlighting their efforts to provide equal service to all 71 neighborhoods of Yıldırım since taking office, said, ‘We have identified the priority needs and main problems for each of our neighborhoods. Accordingly, our teams continue their work in the field. We are providing equal services to every corner of Yıldırım. We listened to the demands of our headmen, informed them about our projects, and got their opinions, together with our deputy mayors, council members, neighborhood presidents, and colleagues. I believe it was a very beneficial meeting for all of us. The common sense put forward here is very valuable. Our regional meetings will continue in the coming days. We will continue to manage Yıldırım together, hand in hand, with common sense.’
