2024 TEKNOFEST Technology competitions will take place in Antalya.

TEKNOFEST, which was first organized in 2018 and attracted nearly 2 million applicants as contestants, will be hosted this year in Antalya, the capital of Turkish tourism. As part of the National Technology Movement, the festival where projects will compete will be held at Antalya Expo Center fairground between 5-8 September. The TEKNOFEST Technology competitions, organized to enhance Turkey’s competence in technological fields, increase support for the national technology development processes of society, and contribute to qualified human resources in relevant fields, have seen over 578 thousand teams and nearly 2 million applicants apply as contestants from the first year to date. Supported by institutions playing a critical role in our national technology ecosystem with increasing interest each year since its first edition in 2018, hundreds of TEKNOFEST projects have come to life. For the technology competitions that will be held within the scope of TEKNOFEST MEDITERRANEAN in 2024, this year, the final evaluations of 23 competitions will be held for the first time at ANTALYA ANFAŞ. Young people in various focus areas from artificial intelligence to communication, from biotechnology to agricultural technologies, will be involved in a fierce competition with their projects to turn their dreams into reality and become the best. In addition, throughout the day, activities, presentations, trainings, and experience areas will be open to visitors. ANFAŞ Board Chairman Ali Bıdı and Vice Chairman Fatih Kabadayı stated that hosting TEKNOFEST in Antalya is a success for the city, and they will share the developments regarding TEKNOFEST with the public in the coming days, expressing their gratitude to everyone who trusts and believes in them as the TEKNOFEST management.
TEKNOFEST, also known as Aviation, Space and Technology Festival, is a festival held in Turkey focusing on aviation, technology, and space technology. Being the only festival that does not lose touch with the ground, TEKNOFEST encompasses the distinction of being the world’s largest aviation, space, and technology festival, where more than 1.6 million young people applied for competitions this year. The festival, first held in Istanbul in 2018, takes place every two years in Istanbul and every two years in one of the Anatolian cities, open to the public and free of charge.
