The teams regularly maintain and clean water and food stations in parks and green areas, as well as provide fresh water and food supplements to street animals. Moreover, services for furry friends continue at the Street Animals Rehabilitation Center. Performing services such as sterilization, vaccination, treatment, and adoption, Küçükçekmece Municipality ensures the treatment of street animals’ diseases and, when necessary, performs operations, providing them with a healthy life through sterilization processes. After these processes, priority is given to adoption, and animals that cannot be adopted are supported to continue their lives in their natural habitats.

Our citizens can support our cats and dogs by leaving clean water bowls in front of their doors, gardens, and streets. Additionally, leaving clean and cold water for birds on windowsills and balconies is also crucial. We must all protect the right to life of our friends who share nature with us. With small steps, we can support their struggle for survival. We hope that all residents of Küçükçekmece will be sensitive in this regard.”
