ANASİAD support for Yıldırım’s transformation

Anatolian Industrialists and Business People Association (ANASIAD) will support the ongoing urban transformation works in Yıldırım. During his visit to the Mayor of Yıldırım, Oktay Yılmaz, the President of ANASIAD, Hakan Birkan, emphasized that more than half of the building stock in Bursa cannot withstand a severe earthquake and also highlighted the inadequacy of urban infrastructure areas. Birkan expressed that they value the ongoing urban transformation works in the district and they will provide support.
Collaboration for joint works
Members of the ANASIAD Board of Directors visited the Mayor of Yıldırım, Oktay Yılmaz, and exchanged views on joint works to be carried out in Yıldırım. Providing information about their activities during the visit, Hakan Birkan stated that ANASIAD is an important non-governmental organization that brings together industrialists and business people operating in different sectors in Bursa. Birkan said, “As a responsible non-governmental organization, we visit the city’s administrators to exchange views. We consider it our duty to support everyone working for Bursa. We contribute to the process together with the members of our association.”
Mayor Yılmaz: “We made a silent change in Yıldırım”
Expressing his satisfaction with the visit, Mayor of Yıldırım, Oktay Yılmaz, stated that Yıldırım has a deep historical heritage and with its unique nature, it is one of the most beautiful places to live in Bursa. Yılmaz emphasized that the primary priority of Yıldırım is zoning and urbanization, and that urban transformation cannot be carried out healthily without solving this problem. Saying, “As Yıldırım Municipality, we have achieved a silent change by providing permanent solutions to zoning implementation plans,” Yılmaz mentioned that they have delivered title deeds to 10 thousand rights holders through zoning applications and will increase this number to 40 thousand in a short time.
ANASIAD plays an important role in urban transformation
Oktay Yılmaz also requested support from ANASIAD for the urban transformation project, stating, “We can receive support from you in being a bridge between our citizens and our municipality. So far, we have signed 19 urban transformation projects with our own resources and the support of the Metropolitan Municipality. We have our plans and projects ready. ANASIAD members can support us by establishing a business to communicate these to our people. Together, we can accomplish good deeds for a more livable Yıldırım and Bursa.” ANASIAD President Hakan Birkan stated that they will quickly evaluate this issue, prepare a roadmap on what they can do by consulting with their members, and present this plan. Birkan said, “As business people, we would like to contribute to solving the problems arising from rapid migration in Yıldırım at the foothills of Uludağ. I am sure that by working together, we will contribute to the development of Bursa.”
