Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced the June 2024 data of Trabzon Airport, stating that a total of 378,163 passengers were served, with domestic passenger traffic at 270,544 and international passenger traffic at 107,619. Minister Uraloğlu disclosed that during the January-June period, there were 1,325,622 domestic and 196,551 international passengers at Trabzon Airport, totaling 1,522,273 passengers.
Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu shared airway aircraft, passenger, and cargo statistics related to Trabzon Airport with numbers. Referring to the data of 2023, Minister Uraloğlu stated that there were a total of 26,755 aircraft movements at Trabzon Airport, with 18,987 domestic and 7,768 international flights. He mentioned that in 2023, a total of 3,535,902 passengers were served at Trabzon Airport, with 2,696,068 domestic and 839,834 international passengers. The cargo traffic amounted to 37,358 tons, with 23,028 tons on domestic flights and 14,330 tons on international flights.
Minister Uraloğlu highlighted that in June 2024, there were 1,705 domestic and 1,272 international aircraft movements at Trabzon Airport, totaling 2,977 flights. He further noted that in June, the airport served 270,544 domestic and 107,619 international passengers, summing up to 378,163 passengers. Additionally, the cargo traffic in June reached 4,753 tons, with 2,481 tons on domestic flights and 2,091 tons on international flights.
“More than 1.5 million passengers were served in the first half of the year.” Minister Uraloğlu emphasized that during the January-June period, Trabzon Airport served a total of 1,522,273 passengers, with 1,325,622 domestic and 196,551 international passengers. He also mentioned that the aircraft traffic amounted to 11,360 flights, with 8,902 domestic and 2,458 international flights. The cargo traffic reached 14,163 tons, with 10,400 tons on domestic flights and 3,763 tons on international flights.
