The Difference of Erzurum in Design

TURKPATENT disclosed the design data for the May 2024 period. Erzurum ranked 1st among the Eastern Anatolia Region provinces in terms of design numbers. The share of the number of designs produced in the province in the country’s total was 0.30%.

Erzurum 5-month design production
According to the data, the period with the highest number of designs developed in Erzurum between January and May of this year was recorded as February with 22 designs. In the province, 15 designs were made in January, 22 in February, 3 in March, 3 in April, 6 in May; and a total of 49 design applications were made in the five-month period.

May regional data and Erzurum
According to TURKPATENT data, in May, 6 design applications were made from Erzurum, 6 in the KUDAKA statistical region provinces, 8 in the Northeast Anatolia statistical region provinces, and 18 from the Eastern Anatolia Region. Erzurum accounted for 33.3% of the total number of applications in the region in May.

January – May period
In the January – May period of this year, 49 design applications were made from Erzurum, 51 from the KUDAKA Statistical Region, 63 from the Northeast Anatolia statistical region provinces, 171 from the Eastern Anatolia Region, and a total of 16,330 design applications were made in the country.

Erzurum’s share
According to the calculations made by DOSIAD based on TURKPATENT data, Erzurum’s share of design applications in the first 4 months was 96% in the KUDAKA Statistical Region, 77.7% in the Northeast Anatolia statistical region, 28.65% in the Eastern Anatolia Region, and 0.30% in the country’s total.

Distribution of design numbers among provinces
While design applications were made from 12 provinces of the Eastern Anatolia Region in the first five months of 2024, no design applications were recorded from Erzincan and Kars provinces. During the period, 49 design applications were identified from Erzurum, 30 from Elazig, 39 from Malatya, 5 from Mus, 3 from Agri, 4 from Tunceli, 4 from Bitlis, 1 from Hakkari, 25 from Van, 2 from Bingol, 4 from Ardahan, and 5 from Igdir.
