Battalgazi Municipality has completed its regular meeting for the month of July

Battalgazi Municipal Council held its regular meeting for the month of July under the chairmanship of the Mayor of Battalgazi, Bayram Taşkin. Battalgazi Municipal Council convened in the ordinary meeting of July under the chairmanship of the Mayor of Battalgazi, Bayram Taşkin. Following the roll call, a minute of silence, and the national anthem, the meeting started with the unanimous acceptance of the decision summary of the ordinary meeting of June. In the July regular meeting held at the Battalgazi Municipality Council Meeting Hall, 10 agenda items, mainly related to zoning issues, were discussed and concluded with a decision.
“We all have a responsibility towards history” Mayor of Battalgazi, Bayram Taşkin, drew attention to the reserve area issue in his speech at the July council meeting. Taşkin stated that 99% of the Niyazi Mısri and Emeksiz neighborhoods have been demolished, large companies have entered these neighborhoods, but due to court cases, construction has not yet started, and the problem stems from a few court cases. Taşkin emphasized, “There are 4,500 rights holders in Saray Mahallesi alone. Because 7 of them filed a lawsuit, the court issues an injunction. 7 people are holding back 4,500 people. Our state provides all the necessary support to the earthquake zone. If we focus on solutions, the state and the people together can quickly solve the problems. Criticism of rent-seeking is made here, I do not understand this rent-seeking. It is easy to make this statement, we do not have the luxury to listen to such statements. We do not have time to lose. This has no party. Without engaging in politics, we must raise this city as soon as possible.” Taşkin also stated that they have largely resolved zoning issues, “We have overcome a major issue with zoning. Nevertheless, we are not at the desired level. History only looks at the results. Let’s all fulfill our responsibility towards history and raise this city as soon as possible. I request from you, you must have acquaintances in those areas. Let’s go talk to them, individually or together, it doesn’t matter. Let’s persuade them and start the construction.” Battalgazi Municipal Council will hold its regular meeting for the month of August on Tuesday, August 6 at 14:30.
