Registrations for the 4th International Kayseri Half Marathon are ongoing

Registrations are ongoing for the fourth edition of the International Kayseri Half Marathon, which has been made traditional by the Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality. Organized by the Metropolitan Municipality Sports Inc. and aiming for more than just a marathon in Kayseri, the 4th International Kayseri Half Marathon will be held on September 22, 2024.

Launched in 2021 by the Metropolitan Municipality Sports Inc. and subsequently organized every year to become traditional, the International Kayseri Half Marathon, running for the fourth time this year, has created great excitement.

As part of the projects signed in line with the importance given to athletes and sports by the Mayor of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç, the International Kayseri Half Marathon, which continues to be a meeting point for many professional athletes from domestic and international locations.

The preparations for the fourth edition of the International Kayseri Half Marathon, which was run with the theme of Kültepe in 2021, Erciyes in 2022, and Mimar Sinan in 2023, are in full swing, with registrations receiving great interest.

21K, 10K, and Public Race Courses

The 4th International Kayseri Half Marathon, which will take place on Sunday, September 22, 2024, will be held on the 21K, 10K, and Public Race courses. Athletes will start the 21K course from the Republic Square starting point, run along Sivas Avenue, turn from Cırgalan Tram Station to Anadolu Wonderland Junction (AHD), and then pass through Mimar Sinan Junction, East Garage Junction, Tuna Junction, and Fuzuli Junction towards the city center, reaching the finish line in front of Ordu Ev.

In the 10K race of the 4th International Kayseri Half Marathon, sports enthusiasts will start from the Republic Square starting point, run along Sivas Avenue, turn back from the East Garage Junction designated as the 10K turning point, pass through Tuna Junction and Fuzuli Junction, and complete the race at the finish line in front of Ordu Ev.

While registrations are ongoing for the 21K and 10K categories, an announcement will be made for the public race in the coming days. Registrations for the 4th International Kayseri Half Marathon, organized with the slogan ‘More than just a marathon,’ can be made through the website www.kayseriyarimaratonu.com, where comprehensive information about the marathon can also be accessed.

The different length courses of the 4th International Kayseri Half Marathon will elevate the people of Kayseri to the peak of sports and entertainment, from professional and amateur athletes aged 7 to 70, as well as with the public race.
