Canik Municipality Mayor İbrahim Sandıkçı expressed that they are continuing the largest urban transformation project in the city without interruption in the district, stating that they are carrying out the works on a 17.5-hectare area.

Canik Municipality Mayor İbrahim Sandıkçı stated that they continue to work meticulously to bring safe and comfortable housing to the citizens. Mayor İbrahim Sandıkçı, stating that they continue to eliminate unsafe building stocks that have completed their service life in Soğuksu Neighborhood within the scope of the Soğuksu Urban Transformation Project, said, ‘We are carrying out the largest urban transformation project in Samsun on a 17.5-hectare area in Canik.’

Mayor İbrahim Sandıkçı, emphasizing that the safety of citizens’ lives is a top priority, said, ‘We are signing the largest urban transformation project in Samsun on a 17.5-hectare area in Soğuksu Neighborhood of our district. Within the framework of our intensive Soğuksu Urban Transformation Project, we continue to eliminate unsafe building stocks in Soğuksu Neighborhood. We continue to work intensively to bring safe, secure, and comfortable housing to our fellow citizens.’

Citizens reunited with their homes
Mayor İbrahim Sandıkçı pointed out that with the Şehr-i Bahçe Residences they have brought to Canik, citizens have reunited with their new homes, and said, ‘With the Şehr-i Bahçe Residences consisting of 678 houses and 29 commercial buildings that we have brought to Canik on a project area of 76,000 square meters, we have reunited our fellow citizens with new and safe housing. Once again, we continue our Soğuksu Urban Transformation Project without slowing down to bring safe and comfortable housing, surrounded by social living spaces, to our fellow citizens.’ A total of 2,864 independent sections consisting of 741 buildings will be demolished on a 17.5-hectare area.
