Zorlu Enerji Osmangazi Elektrik Perakende has expanded its services for farmers

Zorlu Enerji Osmangazi Elektrik Perakende, which provides electricity subscription, sales, billing, and collection services in Afyonkarahisar, Bilecik, Eskişehir, Kütahya, and Uşak, has expanded its services for farmers. Farmers, who will be able to open and close their seasons from where they are located just by calling the call center, will also benefit from the advantageous payment options of contracted banks.

Zorlu Enerji Osmangazi Elektrik Perakende has developed innovative services specifically for farmers during the agricultural irrigation season. Cihan Tunç Ertunç, the Director of Zorlu Enerji Osmangazi Elektrik Perakende, provided information about the services for farmers who are agricultural irrigation subscribers. Ertunç, stating that agricultural irrigation is seasonal, said, ‘The agricultural irrigation season starts every year in May-June and ends in October-November. Our transformer agricultural irrigation subscribers do not irrigate during the winter period, so we open and close their subscriptions seasonally. Because even if the subscriber does not use energy, the transformers continue to consume energy. Due to this situation called ‘idle loss of transformers’, subscriptions are opened seasonally, and thus our agricultural irrigation subscribers do not have to pay a bill for the unused electricity.’

Ertunç, reminding that the opening and closing of transformers were previously done from the 18 Customer Service Centers in the 5 provinces where they operate, continued as follows: ‘With the improvement we have made, now our agricultural irrigation subscribers can easily make their season opening and closing applications by calling our call center number 0850 933 3 999 from where they are located without coming to our centers.’

‘We have signed agreements with three banks, negotiations with other banks are ongoing’
Ertunç also announced that they have signed agreements with three banks to provide advantageous payment options to agricultural irrigation subscribers. Ertunç said, ‘As a result of our negotiations, agricultural irrigation subscribers who have Denizbank Producer Card, İş Bankası İmece Card, and Yapı Kredi Verimli Card are offered advantageous payment options. Subscribers can easily pay the electricity bill for this period through the internet branches of contracted banks, by setting up automatic payment instructions, or at ATMs. Our negotiations with other banks on this matter are also ongoing.’

Ertunç also stated that in addition to contracted banks, electricity bill payments can be made from all PTT branches and contracted N Kolay dealers.
