The ‘Islamic Calligraphy and Calligraphy Exhibition’ opened in Van

In Van, a “Islamic Calligraphy and Calligraphy Exhibition” was opened at the Tuşba Youth Center. The works of 35 students were exhibited at the exhibition held at the Atatürk Art Gallery. Nuran Canbay, the Islamic Calligraphy and Calligraphy Instructor, who spoke at the opening, stated that the exhibition will be open to visitors for three days.

The ‘Beauty of Calligraphy and Calligraphy Exhibition’ was opened at the Tuşba Youth Center in Van. The exhibition, featuring works of 35 students, was held at the Atatürk Art Gallery. Speaking at the opening, Calligraphy and Calligraphy Instructor Nuran Canbay stated that the exhibition, which will remain open for three days, includes works of 35 students, encompassing Turkish, calligraphy, and drawings in a mixed exhibition. She emphasized that all designs and works belong to the students, saying that calligraphy is an art based on love and touches the soul, and that the students create their works with great love. She congratulated the students for their works. Gamze Çinkılıç, a student who has been interested in calligraphy for 7 years, expressed her happiness by saying, ‘These are works we have done with hand labor and sweat.’ Another student, Beyza Angişyan, who has been interested in calligraphy and calligraphy for 7 years, mentioned that calligraphy is challenging but also has its beauty. She highlighted that calligraphy is a beautiful art that develops patience and shared that they sometimes contribute to their family budget by selling the works they create. The program, which continued with the ribbon cutting by the Tuşba Youth Center Director Sunullah Erçek and the protocol, ended with the exhibition visit.
