New collaboration with academic chambers from Nilüfer Municipality

Nilüfer Municipality signed a new cooperation protocol with the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers (MMO) Bursa Branch and the Chamber of Electrical Engineers (EMO) Bursa Branch. The protocol entails that the equipment, installations, and service areas in the inventory of Nilüfer Municipality will be periodically inspected for occupational health and safety for a period of 5 years. Nilüfer Municipality, aiming to enhance service quality alongside effective use of public resources, continues its collaboration with professional chambers affiliated with the Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects (TMMOB). Most recently, a new cooperation protocol was established with the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers Bursa Branch and the Chamber of Electrical Engineers Bursa Branch. The signing ceremony of the protocol, which covers occupational health and safety, took place at the People’s House and was attended by Nilüfer Mayor Şadi Özdemir, Vice Mayors Serpil Altun, Mahmut Demiröz, Okan Şahin, Nilbel A.Ş. Chairman İbrahim Mart, the President of the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers Bursa Branch Ahmet İhsan Taşkınsel, the President of the Chamber of Electrical Engineers Bursa Branch Burak Özgen, and their boards. According to the protocol, work will be carried out to ensure compliance with the ‘Regulation on Health and Safety Conditions in the Use of Work Equipment.’ The chambers will provide services within their areas of expertise, conducting periodic inspections and reporting on the equipment, installations, and service areas in the inventory of Nilüfer Municipality as well as public areas. Through the protocol signed by Nilüfer Mayor Şadi Özdemir, the President of the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers Bursa Branch Ahmet İhsan Taşkınsel, and the President of the Chamber of Electrical Engineers Bursa Branch Burak Özgen, the relevant chambers will carry out regular activities for a period of 5 years.
