More than 10,000 applications for KAYMEK’s ‘free’ summer courses

Registration continues for free summer courses offered by Kayseri Vocational Training and Culture Inc. (KAYMEK), which operates under the umbrella of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, covering academic, social, sports, artistic, vocational, and personal development. KAYMEK, which received over 10,000 applications during the summer period, remains a favorite among the citizens.

Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç described Kayseri Vocational Training and Culture Inc. as the ‘pride and the 6th university of Kayseri’, and the institution continues its vocational education, courses, and cultural art activities uninterruptedly.

Courses will be offered in 132 branches at KAYMEK Art and Vocational Training Course Centers.

In the KAYMEK Art and Vocational Training Course Centers, during the 2024 Summer Term, artistic, vocational, and personal development courses will be offered at 9 different facilities, with additional special courses for children at 6 of these facilities. A total of 132 courses will be offered in 109 different branches for adults and 23 different branches for children, starting on July 1, 2024, and ranging from 2 to 4 months in duration depending on the nature of the course.

While registrations are ongoing for the Art and Vocational Training Course Centers with 3,226 quotas, applications are accepted via kaymenonline.com.

Special education for 8 weeks at KAYMEK Youth Centers.

In the KAYMEK Youth Centers during the 2024 Summer Term, courses will be organized for students aged 8-14 aimed at their academic, social, sports, artistic, and cultural development. Courses such as Quran, Values Education, History Studies, Turkish-Islamic Scholars, and Mind Games will be offered to children at 9 different facilities. At 4 different facilities, preparation courses for Transition to High School Exam (LGS) will be provided for students who have completed the 8th grade, and at the Specialized Youth Center, preparation courses for Higher Education Exam (YKS) will be offered to students who have completed the 12th grade or graduated from high school. In all groups, classes are planned to last for 8 weeks, starting on July 1 and ending on August 24. Registrations are ongoing for the Youth Centers with 1970 quotas.

District Social Life Centers serving the district residents.

In the District Social Life Centers during the 2024 Summer Term, courses will be organized at 16 different facilities for students and course participants aimed at their academic, social, sports, artistic, and cultural development. Furthermore, the multipurpose halls, swimming pools, and fitness centers continue to serve the district residents. Registrations are also ongoing for the District Social Life Centers with 2,500 quotas.

Moreover, in the ongoing and upcoming courses of the 2nd term of Art and Vocational education, a total of 1000 course participants will continue their educational activities throughout the summer.

KAYMEK, once again, became the favorite of the citizens.

As always, citizens show great interest in KAYMEK courses, with over 10,000 applications received during the summer period. In the completely free courses, citizens not only spend their summer time effectively but also improve themselves professionally.
