Gencay Esendağ became the new President of Manisaspor

Gencay Esendağ was elected as the new president at the extraordinary congress of Manisaspor held at the Tarık Almış Sports Facilities in a single list format.
Manisaspor Extraordinary General Assembly Meeting was held at the Tarık Almış Sports Facilities. President Taner Kestaneci and general assembly delegates attended the general assembly meeting.
After the formation of the board with Murat Kümüştekin as the president, a minute of silence was observed followed by the national anthem. Activity and financial reports were read, approved, and unanimously accepted.
As per the agenda items of the general assembly, since no other candidate list emerged for the presidency apart from the list chaired by Metin Gencay, the general assembly proceeded with a single list for the election.
After the board president presented the single list for open voting, the board of directors under the presidency of Gencay Esendağ was accepted unanimously, determining the new management.

At the Extraordinary General Assembly meeting, Gencay Esendağ, who was elected as the President of Manisaspor Club, thanked everyone who supported him in his speech. Esendağ said, ‘Today, in front of you all, I am experiencing the great honor and pride of being elected as the president of Manisaspor. I sincerely thank you all for entrusting me with this great responsibility and duty. Manisaspor is not just a football club, but the heart of a city, a passion, and a way of life. Together, we will further enhance this passion and take Manisaspor to where it deserves. Along with my board of directors, we will work with all our might not to disappoint the trust you have placed in us. Together, we will bring Manisaspor back to its glorious days. We will overcome any obstacles that come our way with unity and a spirit of brotherhood. Our most significant strength in this process will be our valuable fans. With your enthusiasm, love, and support, we will step onto the field stronger in every match. We will fill our stadium, make our voices heard, and make our opponents tremble. We will celebrate together in every victory, every goal.’

President Esendağ, expressing that together they will shape the future of Manisaspor, said, ‘Today, we are opening a new chapter for Manisaspor. We will fill this page with great victories in unity and solidarity. We will strengthen the financial structure of our club, nurture future stars by investing in the infrastructure. We will take Manisaspor to where it deserves. I will always carry the pride and honor of being a part of this great community in my heart. Let’s join forces for a stronger, more successful, and greater Manisaspor.’
The new management list under the presidency of Gencay Esendağ consisted of the following names: Bilge Balcı, Metin Günercan, Cemal Badikanlı, Samet Yeman, Çağlayan Uzunlar, Ümit Atlı, Yalçın Arcak, Mehmet Ali Şahin, Serkan Malay, Halil Yurtseven, Zafer Oynar, Şükrü Fuat Şahin, Tevfik Erand, and Aşkın Daban. The Supervisory Board consisted of Çağrı Tuatay, Servet Bedir, and Yasin Okay.
