The Traditional Aba Wrestling with Overcoats in İbrahimşehir has started with the host of Şehitkamil

The 20th Traditional Aba Wrestling Festival of Ibrahimşehir, organized this year, kicked off with great enthusiasm under the hosting and sponsorship of Şehitkamil Municipality. This event, which is of great importance for the preservation and promotion of traditional sports, was met with great interest.
Prior to the event, comprehensive works were carried out at the Ibrahimşehir Aba Wrestling Field in Ibrahimşehir Neighborhood by Şehitkamil Municipality. The wrestling area, with an area of 655 square meters, was made modern and brought up to high standards by seeding grass and re-leveling. The new automatic irrigation system ensured that the grass area remains in the best condition at all times. In addition, the deficiencies in the iron wires on the field were addressed, rearranged, repainted, and damaged cobblestones, concrete, and curbstones were meticulously repaired. Thus, the field was made both safe and more attractive aesthetically. Covered benches and bench tables were repaired, repainted, providing comfortable resting areas for wrestlers and spectators. The event area was completely prepared through comprehensive environmental cleaning before the organization.
