Çiftalan Beach, prepared by Eyüpsultan Municipality for citizens who want to spend a pleasant weekend in the center of Istanbul, has opened the sea season. The entrance fees to the beach were set at 30 TL for students and 60 TL for adults, while free for 0-9 years old, over 65, families of martyrs, veterans, and disabled citizens.
Eyüpsultan Municipality’s Çiftalan Beach, designed for citizens who want to enjoy a pleasant weekend in the center of Istanbul, attracted great interest from the public on the first day of the season, as people seeking to escape the stress and intensity of city life flocked to the beach. Çiftalan Beach, which is an important alternative for families to enjoy the sea and nature together, has completed all maintenance and renovation works. After the completion of the works carried out for the comfort and safety of the citizens, the beach was opened to the public. Visitors at Çiftalan Beach will be able to benefit from sun loungers and umbrellas free of charge. While the entrance is free for 0-9 years old, over 65, families of martyrs, veterans, and disabled citizens, the entrance fees for students are 30 TL and for adults are 60 TL. The parking fees for the beach are 100 TL for small vehicles and 150 TL for large vehicles.
Çiftalan Beach will be open to the public every day. Free shuttles will be available daily from certain points for those who want to go to the beach. The shuttles to Çiftalan Beach will operate at two different times as follows:
“The first shuttle will depart at 09:00 and return at 14:00. The departure time for Kemerburgaz and Göktürk will be 09:30. The second shuttle will depart at 11:00 and return at 16:00. The departure time for Kemerburgaz and Göktürk will be 11:30.”
The departure points for the shuttles will be as follows:
“Eyüpsultan District Governorship 09:00-11:00, Alibeyköy Corn Statue 09:00-11:00, Veysel Karani Mosque 09:00-11:00, Güzeltepe Youth Center 09:00-11:00, Kemerburgaz Fire Department 09:30-11:30, Göktürk Istanbul Avenue Agriculture 4.0 Building 09:00-11:30”
The beach is equipped with changing cabins, shower areas, toilets, a cafeteria, and a first aid station. A lifeguard tower and team will be on duty at the beach for the safety of citizens who want to swim. Those interested can make a reservation by contacting 0212 480 08 45 ext. 218.
