President Aydın presented his projects that will add value to Osmangazi to the whole of Turkey

Osmangazi Mayor Erkan Aydın, who shared the historical and cultural values of Osmangazi with millions of people through a television program accompanied by visuals, also shared the important projects they have prepared for Osmangazi with all of Turkey. The program, held at Sümbüllü Bahçe Konağı, was attended by Mayor Aydın, as well as esteemed artists Nida Ateş and Menteşeli Cengiz. In the program, which featured a very enjoyable conversation about art, music, and history, members of the Osmangazi Municipality Folk Dance Group also performed beautiful dance shows. Mayor Erkan Aydın, based on the new generation municipal understanding, shared with all of Turkey the consecutive projects they will implement in Osmangazi. Mayor Aydın expressed that one of the most important projects they have prepared for Osmangazi is to reveal the ‘old city’, known as the ‘eski şehir’ in the world, stating, ‘Unfortunately, tourists stay in Bursa for only 1.8 days. We need to increase this duration. It is very important for the economy that the visiting tourists stay, shop, tour, eat, and drink. The point where we can achieve this is the Hisar region. We are conducting studies to extend the duration of tourist stays by revealing the Hisar region, which includes historical points such as Kaleiçi, Tahtakale Hanlar region, and Muradiye, as an ‘old city’.’
