Ismail Yuksek: “We are very hopeful to advance from the group”

Turkish National Football Team player Ismail Yüksek, expressing his sadness for the defeat against Portugal, stated that he believes they will advance from the group by showing a good performance against the Czech Republic in the final match of the group.

In the second match of Group F of the 2024 UEFA European Football Championship (EURO 2024) played last night at the BVB Stadium, the successful midfielder Ismail Yüksek of the Turkish National Football Team, who lost 3-0 to Portugal, made statements at the press conference.

Starting his words by mentioning that he overcame a difficult injury, Ismail said, “I haven’t stepped on the field for 60 days, but when I talked to our coach before the match and last week, our coach also expressed that he wants to slowly put me on the field. I feel good physically, and I think I will start playing slowly. Of course, the final decision belongs to our coach. We still have a chance to advance from the group, we are very hopeful and confident. You will see this with our performance on the field in the match against the Czech Republic,” he said.
