Home care service started in Bayraklı

Mayor of Bayraklı, İrfan Önal, has implemented the Home Care Service, one of the projects he promised during the election process. Within this scope, bedridden patients, elderly, or disabled citizens living in Bayraklı will benefit from home doctor visit services and will be able to have minor maintenance, repairs, and renovations done in their homes. Mayor İrfan Önal said, ‘I am experiencing the joy of keeping another promise we made during the election period. Within our means, we will always stand by our citizens in need.’ Bayraklı Municipality has started Home Care Services for district residents who have difficulty in doing their own chores due to illness or old age. A significant project among Mayor İrfan Önal’s election promises, Home Care Service allows bedridden patients and elderly people to receive necessary health services at home without going to the hospital. In this context, support is provided in various areas such as nursing care, physical therapy, personal care, medication follow-up, and medical consulting. In addition, the Department of Public Works teams will carry out minor maintenance, renovations, and repairs in homes according to the requests received. “We will not leave our elders alone.” With a social understanding of municipal services, Mayor Önal stated that they will be by the side of every citizen in need within their means. Along with his wife Gökçe Pişkin Önal and healthcare teams, as part of the project, he visited 82-year-old Alten Avcı in his home in Refik Şevket İnce Neighborhood, who suffers from diabetes and heart failure problems. The healthcare teams examined Alten aunt and made the necessary arrangements for her treatment, providing recommendations. Expressing her gratitude for not being forgotten, Avcı said, ‘Thank you very much for not forgetting us.’ Mayor Önal, who extended his get-well wishes to Avcı, said, ‘One of the promises I made during the election period was Home Care Services. As a municipality, we will always be by the side of our elderly and care-dependent elders. We will mobilize our teams within our means by evaluating all the issues they request. Our teams will also technically carry out minor maintenance and repair tasks in homes. We will never make our elders struggling to sustain their lives due to old age and illness feel lonely.’
