The championship cup was presented by the provincial director

The champion of the football tournament organized for the first time this year by the units of Düzce Atatürk State Hospital was Technical Service. The Health Director Dr. Yasin Yılmaz presented the trophy to the champion team.

In order to increase solidarity among the working staff at Düzce Atatürk State Hospital and to ensure that the staff stays away from intense work stress, 10 different teams consisting of Atatürk State Hospital personnel were established. The established teams competed in the inter-unit football tournament. In the final matches of the competitive games, Technical Service faced Anesthesia Intensive Care Unit. The match, officiated by Düzce referee Ahmet Şahin, ended 2-2 in normal time. As a result of penalty shootouts, Technical Service defeated Anesthesia Intensive Care Unit 4-3, becoming the owner of the championship cup. The third place in the tournament was taken by Muncurlu Physical Therapy Football Team.

‘It increased communication and friendship’

After the final match, the Provincial Health Director Dr. Yasin Yılmaz presented the championship cup to the Technical Service Team and individually congratulated the players of both teams.

Thanking all the teams participating in the tournament, Yasin Yılmaz stated, ‘The inter-unit football tournament of Düzce Atatürk State Hospital, which we organized for the first time this year, was a beautiful organization aimed at increasing the motivation of our hospital staff, strengthening communication and friendship bonds among the staff. We are also happy that sportsmanship and fair play were at a high level in the tournament. The intense participation in the tournament, the matches held in excitement comparable to league matches and with crowded stands, also led to positive feedback from our staff. I would like to express my gratitude to the management of Düzce Atatürk State Hospital who organized the tournament, all the teams, athletes, referees, and everyone who contributed.’
