President Kurt: ‘We should not forget our culture and we should not let it be forgotten’

The Mayor of Odunpazarı, Kazım Kurt, attended the Eid al-Fitr celebration organized by the Eskişehir Crimean Turks Culture Solidarity and Sports Club Association (Eskişehir Crimea Association). During the celebration, Mayor Kurt congratulated everyone present for the holiday. Emphasizing that holidays are days of unity, solidarity, and cooperation, Mayor Kurt stated that it is important to put these values into practice and not just talk about them. He mentioned the need for a different structure in Eskişehir based on what he shared. He highlighted the importance of arriving at such events without doubts, with good intentions, and genuinely. He expressed that it is essential for everyone to contribute to the success of this association. Mayor Kurt emphasized that preserving and promoting our culture is crucial, and that the Eskişehir Crimea Association has been striving to make a difference for years. He pointed out that the political turmoil in Crimea affects Turkey as well, and overcoming these challenges is necessary. Mayor Kurt stressed the importance of expanding the efforts of the association and offered support in this regard. He concluded by highlighting the significance of fostering unity and solidarity in Eskişehir. Following the speeches, the Eid celebration continued, with Mayor Kurt engaging in conversations and taking photos with members of the Eskişehir Crimea Association who showed great interest in him. The traditional Eid celebration, which has become a custom, was attended by Mayor Kurt, President of the Eskişehir Crimea Association Recep Şen, and many association members.
