Metropolitan Zoo welcomes a surge of visitors during the holiday

With the instructions of the Mayor of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç, the Zoo belonging to the Metropolitan Municipality, which opened its doors for free to visitors on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th days of Eid al-Adha, hosted 30,000 people in 3 days.

Located in Anadolu Harikalar Diyarı and hosting approximately 1,600 animals of 153 species, Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Zoo attracted a large number of visitors this holiday as well.

Especially popular during holidays, the Metropolitan Municipality Zoo opened its doors for free to visitors following the instructions of Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç.

The zoo, which was closed on the 1st day of Eid al-Adha, received great interest from the residents of Kayseri and visitors from other cities on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th days of the holiday.

The Metropolitan Municipality Zoo, where necessary vaccinations and protective measures for animal health are carried out by veterinary doctors, being open for free visits during Eid al-Adha made children very happy.

While the Metropolitan Municipality Zoo hosted 30,000 people in 3 days, including children who had fun and learned, as well as visitors who had the opportunity to see many species of animals up close for the first time, the visitors thanked Mayor Büyükkılıç for the special free visit application for the holiday.

Within Anadolu Harikalar Diyarı, the zoo houses approximately 1,600 animals of 153 species, which are carefully protected and fed under the best conditions in all four seasons.

The Metropolitan Zoo is open from 10:00 to 19:00.
