Doğan emphasized that almost nothing is permanent in football, saying, ‘Champions change. Players, coaches, presidents change. The only thing that doesn’t change is the Trabzonspor fans, the sole power that never disappoints, swiftly buying the Turkey Cup final tickets, giving the most effective support to their team at Atatürk Olympic Stadium; in a world where so many things differ, perhaps this is the only truth we can blindly trust. I express my endless gratitude to you, the great Trabzonspor fans, who, despite getting angry, saying ‘I won’t go to the match again,’ at the end of the day forget their anger and start supporting this emblem again because the love for Trabzonspor prevails.’

‘Lessons we will learn will guide us’
President Doğan highlighted that they started preparations for the next season months ago. ‘Our preparations for the upcoming season have been ongoing at full speed for months. Just like the season we became champions, we are in the midst of meticulous work with our coach Abdullah Avcı.
